Health, safety and Environment

At Gateville we are extremely proud of our impeccable Health and safety record.

We constantly liaise and assist our clients and partners in their efforts to achieve a safer working environment. Our aim is to keep our impeccable record intact whilst still delivering the high quality workmanship our clients have come to expect from Gateville.

Gateville employ an external and impartial Health and Safety Manager to ensure we maintain the highest level of health and safety from Directors through to Operatives. We operate an in-house training programme which ensures our employees are trained and educated to the highest possible standard.

Gateville are accredited to CHAS and Construction Line and all our employees hold CSCS cards. We are also an approved asbestos contractor and hold all relevant accreditations.

We acknowledge that our operations have an impact on the environment. Through the adoption of a reasonable and proactive attitude to environmental issues, we are committed to minimizing potentially harmful effects on the environment and to contributing to sustainable construction through balancing our business aims with environmental considerations.

We have invested in a ‘Green Fleet’ of cars and vans which includes low Co2 emission and electrical vehicles. We monitor all Co2 emissions and can produce reports for our clients if required.

Gateville are ISO 14001 accredited which is the international standard for controlling and improving an organisation's environmental performance. We are proud of our commitment and regularly meet internally and externally to discuss all aspects of these requirements and how we could improve as an organisation.
